Sound Familiar?
You don't need a crisis to start therapy
You don't need a reason big enough to justify it. Wanting to feel better is enough.
Something's been weighing on you
Even if you can't quite put a name to what it is yet.
The same worries keep circling back
Especially the ones that show up right around 2am.
A big change has thrown you off balance
A move, a breakup, a loss, a new chapter you didn't fully choose.
You want to understand your patterns
Not just cope with them, but understand where they come from.
Things look fine on paper but...
Something still feels a little off, and that's worth paying attention to.
You just want an hour that's only about you
Not fifteen minutes between errands, a full hour where you're the only thing that matters.
how it works
Usually 53 minutes, on the hour
Sometimes sessions run a little shorter, sometimes a little over, but 53 minutes is the standard. How often you come in is between you and your therapist.
We start with what brought you in. No pressure to have it all figured out before you walk in the door, or to know exactly what you want to work on yet.
Weekly, every other week, whatever fits your life. You and your therapist decide together, and it can always change.
Many people start closer together and taper down over time, to monthly, quarterly, or even just once a year, as things feel steadier.
before booking
You need to know that:
You don't need a crisis
Therapy isn't just for emergencies. Most people come in for everyday things that deserve attention too.
Nothing is off-limits
There's no "wrong" thing to bring up, and no topic too small to matter.
If it's not a fit, we'll fix that
If your first therapist doesn't feel right, we'll help you find someone who does.
Sessions are confidential
What you say stays between you and your therapist, protected by law.
meet your therapists
Individual therapy is offered by nearly every therapist on our team, each with their own style, background, and areas of focus. We'll help match you with someone who fits, and if the first match isn't right, we'll help you find someone who is.

questions about individual therapy
A few things people usually ask
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don't need a crisis or an official diagnosis to start. If something feels off, even if you can't quite name it, that's reason enough to come in. Most people who start therapy aren't in a full-blown emergency, they just want things to feel more manageable.
What if I don't know what to say?
That's completely normal, especially in the first few sessions. Your therapist will help guide the conversation, so you don't need to arrive with a plan or a perfectly organized story. Some of the best sessions start with "I don't really know where to begin."
How long will I need therapy?
It depends entirely on what brought you in. Some people come for a few months to work through something specific, others check in for years as life keeps changing. There's no set timeline here, you and your therapist decide together what pace makes sense, and when you're ready to be done.
What if I don't click with my therapist?
That happens more often than people expect, and it's okay. Finding the right fit sometimes takes more than one try. Just let us know, and we'll help you connect with someone else on our team, no explanation required.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes, your privacy is protected by law. There are a few narrow exceptions, mainly around safety, and your therapist will walk you through exactly what those are before you start, so nothing catches you off guard later.
Can I switch between in-person and online?
Yes. Plenty of people mix it up depending on the week, an online session when schedules are tight, in person when it works better. Whatever's realistic for your life is fine.
